Alleo Paid Service Terms

Effective Date: October 19, 2026

Chapter 1. General Provisions

Article 1 (Purpose)

These Paid Service Terms set forth the rights, obligations, responsibilities, payment, refunds, and other necessary matters between Kroffle Inc. (the "Company") and Members regarding the use of paid services within the Alleo service operated by the Company (the "Service").

Article 2 (Relationship with Other Terms)

  1. These Terms are supplemental terms to the "Alleo Terms of Service" (the "Basic Terms").
  2. Matters not provided in these Terms are governed by the Basic Terms and applicable laws.
  3. If these Terms conflict with the Basic Terms, these Terms will prevail.

Article 3 (Definitions)

The definitions of terms used in these Terms are as follows.

  1. "Paid Service" means a service provided by the Company in exchange for payment from a Member.
  2. "Recurring Payment" means a payment method in which fees are automatically charged at regular intervals, such as monthly or annually, using a payment method to which the Member has agreed in advance.
  3. "Subscription" means the right granted to a Member to continuously use a Paid Service for a certain period.
  4. "Free Trial" means a service provided by the Company that allows a Member to experience a Paid Service free of charge for a certain period or within a certain usage limit.
  5. "Payment Date" means the date on which a Recurring Payment is made, and refers to the same date each month or year based on the initial payment date.

Chapter 2. Use of Paid Services

Article 4 (Types and Fees of Paid Services)

  1. Details of Paid Services provided by the Company, including service types, fees, and usage limits, are posted on the pricing page within the Service.
  2. The Company may change the types, fees, and usage conditions of Paid Services for business needs. In such case, the Company will notify Members by email or notice within the Service at least 30 days before the effective date, specifying the effective date and reason for the change.
  3. If a change is unfavorable to Members, such as a fee increase, the changed terms will apply from the billing cycle newly paid after the change. Members who do not agree to the change may cancel their Subscription.
  4. In addition to Recurring Payment products, the Company may sell a "Usage Reset Ticket." A Usage Reset Ticket may be purchased by a Member who is using a Paid Service (plan) designated by the Company, and it is a one-time product that immediately resets the Member's usage for the current billing cycle of the Paid Service the Member is using. The reset usage limit remains valid until the end of that billing cycle, and a Usage Reset Ticket may be purchased only once per billing cycle.

Article 5 (Payment Methods)

Members may pay fees for Paid Services using one of the payment methods designated by the Company.

  • Credit card or debit card
  • Bank transfer
  • Virtual account
  • Other electronic payment methods added by the Company

Payments are processed through the payment gateway provider Toss Payments Co., Ltd., and detailed processing methods for each payment method are governed by the payment gateway provider's policies.

Article 6 (Recurring Payment and Automatic Renewal)

  1. If a Member applies for a Paid Service using Recurring Payment, the Subscription will automatically renew at the same billing cycle unless the Member cancels it.
  2. The Company will notify the Member by email at least 7 days before the recurring payment date of the following matters.
    • Next scheduled payment date
    • Scheduled payment amount
    • Payment method
    • Instructions for cancellation
  3. If payment fails on the recurring payment date due to reasons such as exceeding the payment method limit, insufficient balance, or card expiration, the Company may notify the Member and attempt payment again for a certain period. If payment is not completed within that period, use of the Paid Service will be automatically suspended.

Article 7 (Free Trial)

  1. The Company may provide a Free Trial to new Members or to eligible Members designated by the Company.
  2. On the Free Trial application screen, the Company discloses the following matters and starts the Free Trial only if the Member explicitly consents to them. This consent is obtained within 30 days before the conversion to a paid Subscription; if a Free Trial lasts longer than 30 days, the Company obtains consent again within 30 days before the conversion.
    • The Free Trial period and the date and time of the conversion to a paid Subscription (the first payment)
    • The price before and after the conversion (the amount changing from free to the list price of the paid plan) and the subsequent billing cycle
    • The payment method (the payment is charged to the default payment method at the time of payment; if that payment fails, the Company attempts payment with the Member's other registered payment methods)
    • The conditions and method for cancelling if the Member does not want the conversion, and the effect of cancelling
  3. If a Member who consented under Paragraph 2 does not cancel the Free Trial before the conversion date and time, the consented amount is charged to the registered payment method at the consented date and time, and the Free Trial converts to a paid Subscription. Without the Member's consent, the Company does not convert the Free Trial to a paid Subscription.
  4. A Member may cancel the Free Trial at any time during the Free Trial on the [Subscription & Billing] page in the Service. Upon cancellation, the Free Trial ends immediately and the Member returns to the free plan, and the scheduled first payment is not made. Career AI Agents activated beyond the free plan limit are handled under Article 10 Paragraph 4.
  5. In principle, a Free Trial is provided only once per workspace. If a workspace that has already used a Free Trial subscribes to a Paid Service again, the first payment is made at the time of application without a Free Trial, and the Company will disclose the payment amount and payment method on the application screen. The Company may refuse or withdraw a Free Trial if fraudulent use is suspected.

Article 7-2 (Plan Changes)

  1. A Member may change the plan of a Paid Service they subscribe to through the [Subscription & Billing] page within the Service. Only the workspace owner may request a plan change.
  2. A change to a higher plan with the same billing cycle (an "Upgrade") takes effect immediately upon request, and the Company immediately charges the difference calculated by the following formula to the payment method registered by the Member. If the result is less than KRW 1,000, KRW 1,000 is charged. However, if less than 5 minutes remain until the end of the current billing cycle, no difference is charged and the higher plan applies from the next payment date.
    • Difference = (list price of the higher plan for the same billing cycle - the amount the Member currently pays for the Subscription) x remaining time in the current billing cycle / total length of the current billing cycle (rounded up to the nearest won)
  3. After an Upgrade, the start and end dates of the current billing cycle, the next payment date, and the usage in that billing cycle remain unchanged, and only the usage limits change to those of the higher plan. From the next payment date, the list price of the higher plan is charged.
  4. If payment of the difference fails or is not completed, the plan is not changed. If payment is confirmed after the current billing cycle has ended and the plan is therefore not changed, the Company refunds the full difference charged. A Subscription with an unpaid recurring payment may be upgraded only after the unpaid amount has been paid.
  5. If a Member on a Free Trial changes to a higher plan with the same billing cycle, the change takes effect immediately without a separate payment, and the Free Trial end date does not change. At the conversion date and time, the first payment is made at the list price of the changed plan. In this case, the Company discloses the changed first payment amount and date and time and obtains the Member's explicit consent. During a Free Trial, a Member cannot change to a lower plan or to a different billing cycle.
  6. A change to a lower plan (a "Downgrade") and a change from a Monthly Subscription to an Annual Subscription take effect from the next payment date. An Annual Subscription cannot be changed to a Monthly Subscription during its term.
  7. If a Member with a Monthly Subscription upgrades during a billing cycle and pays the difference, the Member cannot schedule a Downgrade until that billing cycle ends. The Member may still cancel the Subscription.
  8. The difference paid for an Upgrade is not partially refunded, except where the requirements for withdrawal of subscription under Article 9 are satisfied.

Article 8 (Receipts and Tax Invoices)

  1. Upon completion of payment, the Company will send payment details to the email address registered by the Member.
  2. Business Members may request issuance of a tax invoice through the receipt/tax invoice issuance menu within the Service. The request may be submitted by the 10th day of the month following the month in which the payment date falls.

Chapter 3. Withdrawal of Subscription and Refunds

Article 9 (Withdrawal of Subscription)

  1. If a Member enters into a contract for use of a Paid Service with the Company, the Member may withdraw the subscription within 7 days from the payment date in accordance with Article 17 of the Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce.

  2. However, a Member may not withdraw the subscription in any of the following cases.

    • The Service has been lost or damaged due to a reason attributable to the Member.
    • The Member has already used the Paid Service, including any partial use such as running an analysis, generating content, or automatically posting to SNS.
    • The value of the Service has significantly decreased over time to the extent that resale is difficult.
    • The Service is content under Article 2(1)5 of the Content Industry Promotion Act and provision of the content has begun.
    • The product, such as a Usage Reset Ticket, is one for which provision is completed immediately upon purchase because the usage limit is reset at that time.
  3. Notwithstanding Paragraph 2, if the Company has not clearly indicated in an easily noticeable place that withdrawal of subscription is unavailable for a Paid Service, or has not provided measures such as trial-use products, the Member's withdrawal of subscription will not be restricted.

  4. If a Member withdraws the subscription, the Company will refund the payment amount within 3 business days from the date the Company receives notice of withdrawal. Refunds will be made through the same payment method used for payment, provided that if a refund through the same method is not possible due to the nature of the payment method, the Company may refund by another method.

Article 10 (Subscription Cancellation and Refund Standards)

  1. Monthly Subscription

    • Members may cancel their Subscription at any time before the next payment date, and upon cancellation may continue to use the Service until the end of the current billing cycle.
    • Monthly Subscriptions do not provide partial refunds on a pro rata basis. However, this does not apply if the requirements for withdrawal of subscription under Article 9 are satisfied.
  2. Annual Subscription

    • Members may cancel an Annual Subscription at any time, and the refund amount will be calculated according to the following standard.
    • Refund amount = Payment amount - (monthly list price x number of months used) - amount equivalent to discounts already granted
      • The number of months used is calculated from the payment date to the cancellation request date, and any period shorter than 1 month is counted as 1 month.
      • The monthly list price is based on the regular monthly subscription price for the same plan.
      • If the calculated result is 0 or less, no refund will be provided.
    • If the requirements for withdrawal of subscription under Article 9 are satisfied, namely within 7 days from the payment date and no use, the full payment amount will be refunded.
  3. Refund Restrictions for Partial Use

    • If a Member has used any part of the Paid Service, such as running an analysis, generating one or more pieces of content, or posting to SNS, withdrawal of subscription for the relevant billing cycle may be restricted.
  4. Career AI Agents When Moving to the Free Plan

    • When the Member moves to the free plan due to Free Trial cancellation, Subscription cancellation, payment failure, or similar reasons, and more Career AI Agents are active than the free plan allows, the default agent is kept first, then the most recently updated agents up to the limit, and the use of the remaining agents is restricted (locked by plan).
    • Restricted Career AI Agents are not deleted and can be restored when the usage limit increases later.
    • The number of active Career AI Agents is not a reason to restrict Free Trial cancellation or Subscription cancellation.

Article 11 (Refunds Due to Reasons Attributable to the Company)

  1. If a Member cannot normally use the Paid Service for any of the following reasons, the Member may request a refund from the Company.

    • The Service is suspended for 24 consecutive hours or more due to reasons attributable to the Company.
    • Payment was completed normally, but the Service was not provided due to reasons attributable to the Company.
    • The Company abolishes or suspends the Service.
  2. In the case of Paragraph 1, the Company will refund the amount corresponding to the period during which the Member could not use the Service, and may provide additional compensation in accordance with applicable rules such as the Guidelines for Protection of Content Users.

  3. If the Company abolishes or suspends the Service without prior notice, the Company will refund the amount corresponding to the remaining paid usage period and provide separate compensation standards.

Article 12 (Refund Processing Period and Method)

  1. After confirming the reason for refund, the Company will process the refund within 3 business days. Additional time may be required for actual completion of the refund depending on the payment method as follows.

    • Credit card/debit card: 3 to 5 business days depending on the card issuer's policy
    • Bank transfer/virtual account: 1 to 3 business days
  2. If refund processing is delayed due to a reason attributable to the Member, such as failure to provide payment method information, the Member is responsible for the period of delay.

  3. The Company may deduct payment gateway fees incurred in connection with a refund through the payment gateway provider from the refund amount, and will notify the Member in advance if such deduction is made.

Article 13 (Refunds upon Restriction of Use or Termination of Service Agreement)

  1. If the Company terminates the service agreement because a Member violates these Terms or the Basic Terms, the Company may refuse to refund the remaining usage period.
  2. However, if the Member's violation is minor or the Company determines under its policy that a refund is appropriate, the Company may provide a partial refund.

Chapter 4. Miscellaneous

Article 14 (How to Cancel a Subscription)

  1. Members may cancel a Subscription at any time using any of the following methods.
    • Direct cancellation through the [Subscription & Billing] page within the Service
    • Cancellation request by email to the Company's customer support email address (contact@kroffle.com)
  2. The Company will not engage in acts that make cancellation difficult, such as multi-step procedures or additional authentication beyond what is necessary, and will provide a cancellation method that is as simple as the registration procedure.
  3. When a cancellation request is received, the Company will complete the cancellation without delay and notify the Member of the result by email.

Article 15 (Dispute Resolution)

  1. Disputes related to these Terms are governed by Article 20 of the Basic Terms.
  2. For payment-related disputes, Members may apply for dispute mediation with the Korea Consumer Agency or the Electronic Commerce Mediation Committee.
